How does it work? I tried it a few times, and it "read my mind" correctly each time. Usually these things are pretty easy to figure out, but after giving this a little thought, I'm still stumped.

it is a divison of the number 9...notice that all numbers that can be divide by 9 have the same symbol...9, 18, 27, 36, etc...
